The Magic Bullet® suppository formulation does not use an oil base (hydrogenated vegetable oil) as found in other bisacodyl-based laxatives. The oil base in these other suppositories has to melt before the bisacodyl can stimulate the bowel to contract and push out the stool. The Magic Bullet® acts quickly and contains a full 10mg of bisacodyl USP.
