Take Mobility to the Next Level with Posture-Supportive Design! The STRONGBACK Excursion 12+AB Lightweight Transport Wheelchair. AB means Attendant Brakes makes every trip feel easier, safe and more supported, with a 300 lbs capacity.

Built with Strongback Mobility’s award-winning ergonomic design, this transport chair helps you stay upright and move naturally, reducing the fatigue that can come from slouching or long periods of sitting. It’s the ideal choice for anyone looking for a smoother, lighter, and more reliable way to stay mobile throughout the day.

Promotes Better Posture Every Time You Sit

Unlike standard transport chairs that often encourage slumping, the Excursion 12+AB Lightweight Transport Wheelchair uses patented STRONGBACK technology to follow the natural curve of your spine. The integrated lumbar support encourages a healthier seated position, making long rides or extended use easier and more manageable. The adjustable backrest allows users to fine-tune their support, creating a more natural and upright feel from the moment they sit down.

Easy to Lift, Fold, and Go

This ultra-lightweight transport wheelchair is made for travel. Weighing in at just over 24.5 lbs (including all components), it folds down quickly and compactly perfect for loading into a trunk, taking on public transport, or storing at home. The foldable frame and detachable footrests help reduce bulk, while the quick-fold mechanism makes packing up a one-person job.

Smooth Navigation Indoors and Outdoors

With 12-inch rear wheels and attendant brakes, the Excursion 12+AB Lightweight Transport Wheelchair is designed for smooth handling on a wide range of surfaces. From grocery store aisles to sidewalks and parking lots, this transport wheelchair rolls easily over bumps and transitions. The ergonomic push handles give caregivers better grip and control, while the rear braking system adds confidence and safety on slopes or ramps.
