 Mygo Stander

The stander, which delivers truly excellent prone, supine, and upright positioning for children with moderate to complex needs.

Infinite positioning to help kids stand with confidence.

Mygo Stander provides the best standing therapy solution on the market – this 3-in-1 stander delivers truly excellent positioning whether a child is in prone, supine or upright. Mygo Stander doesn’t compromise on quality, ensuring children get the support and comfort they need to enjoy standing and the benefits this brings.

Hip, knee, and ankle contractures can be accommodated via Mygo Stander’s outstanding adjustability. The footplates and knee supports uniquely move together, taking the strain off the hip flexors, hamstrings and gastrocnemius muscles, ensuring children stand in a more upright functional posture. This linked movement opens up standing therapy to children who were previously unsuitable because of their contractures.

A child’s activity and independence can be increased through using Mygo Stander as it has been designed to improve upper limb function. The ergonomically designed chest pad replicates the shape of the rib cage, allowing the shoulder girdle to freely protract and retract in prone standing. This, combined with Mygo Stander’s lower tray height and a more upright head and chest position, supports significant improvement in the child’s upper limb function. The child has space to move, supporting freer arm movement and an increased ability to carry out everyday activities such as feeding themselves, playing, self-care tasks and communicating with others.

Mygo is a modular stander which can be tailored to meet a child’s specific needs and evolve with them as they grow and their postural support needs and therapy goals change. An extensive range of options and accessories enable an individualised fit, ensuring the best possible posture is achieved.

Leckey Mygo Stander Pediatric Standing Frame Buyer’s Guide

The Leckey Mygo Stander is a highly adaptable pediatric standing frame designed to offer therapy and physical support to children with complex movement needs. Engineered to accommodate children from ages 4 to 14, this device helps young users experience the medical and social benefits of upright positioning. By providing a stable and supportive structure, the system promotes weight-bearing, improves circulation, and allows children to engage eye-to-eye with their peers.

Leckey Pediatric Three-in-One Design Flexibility

A standout characteristic of this standing system is its ability to configure into prone, supine, and vertical positions. This three-in-one capability allows the Leckey frame to adapt to the specific therapeutic goals and physical tolerance of each child. Whether a child needs forward-leaning prone support to build upper body strength or backward-leaning supine support due to limited head control, the system adjusts smoothly to match their requirements.

Mygo Postural Alignment and Stabilization

Achieving proper body alignment is essential during standing therapy, and the Mygo system handles this through highly adjustable lateral, pelvic, and knee supports. The frame is designed to reduce atypical posturing by keeping the hips, knees, and feet securely aligned. This specialized structure helps distribute weight evenly across the lower limbs, ensuring that the standing session is both physically beneficial and comfortable for the child.

Supportive Multi-Axial Foot and Knee Positioning

Children with complex orthopedic needs often require unique adjustments for their lower extremities, and this stander addresses that with a supportive footplate and knee bracket design. The footplates can be adjusted individually for angle and depth, accommodating leg length differences or structural contractions in the ankles. The innovative knee cups safely distribute pressure, giving the child the confidence and stability needed to maintain an upright posture.

Adjustable Activity Tray for Enhanced Engagement

To encourage interaction and functional development during standing therapy, the device features a spacious, angle-adjustable activity tray. This surface provides a convenient platform for schoolwork, eating, playing with toys, or utilizing communication devices. By integrating daily activities into standing time, the pediatric user remains distracted and engaged, which often leads to a higher tolerance for longer therapy sessions.

Growth Accommodation and Caregiver Adjustments

Because children grow rapidly, the equipment is engineered with easily accessible adjustment points that allow the frame to expand alongside the user. Caregivers and therapists can modify the chest support height, hip pad width, and footplate positions with minimal effort. This adaptability ensures the investment provides a personalized, safe fit over several years of a child’s development, maximizing the long-term utility of the device.
