Height-Adjustable Tilt Top Overbed Table Review

Muica
Good

Still not very long. I have to stay on the very side of the bed so I can use it but I am giving 5 stars because it helped me when I did my surgery and could not stay at a computer. I really wish the top table would be bigger.

Great table

Bought this for my wife after giving birth. Very versatile little table, able to slide it right over the bed to eat or use the iPad in bed. Height is adjustable!

Fantastic product that can be improved further

Good things: great price; great height adjustment; very useful as mobile table, stand, or use on sofa; easy to assemble

Perfect width for someone in a standard wheelchair

Bought this for my stepson who is in a wheelchair – it’s the perfect width to fit around his wheels!

Michael Bourne
Well-built unit.

The Medline over bed table is great. Easy to help feed my wife comfortably. Was easy to assemble. Would recommend it in a hurry.

Things that could be better

These tables were fine but for my purposes it would have been better if the lowest height setting had been a bit lower. Also the instructions talk about the height being locked. The height does not lock – you can always raise the table without releasing the catch. I would have liked it to lock against raising the table as well as against lowering it.

Overbed tilt table

Ordered on 3/31 recd on 4/2. Assembly a little time consuming mainly due to poorly written and even worse illustrations on how to assemble the table. After getting rid of the instructions was able to assemble within 45 minutes and no assistance. Lowest position could be a little lower for a patient using it to eat on side of bed. Otherwise- just what the the nurse ordered.

Medline Tilt-Top H-Base Overbed Table Buyer’s Guide

The Medline Tilt-Top H-Base Overbed Table is a versatile personal surface solution designed to accommodate reading, writing, dining, and device use for individuals resting in bed or seated in a wheelchair. Built with a customizable multi-angle tabletop, independent control levers, and a smooth-rolling steel frame, this overbed desk delivers personalized ergonomic support for home care and clinical settings.

Three-Position Tilting Tabletop

The Medline Tilt-Top Overbed Table features an adjustable 30-inch by 15-inch surface that tilts into three distinct positions with a simple squeeze of the control lever. This angle customization allows users to position books, tablets, or paperwork at a comfortable viewing angle, reducing neck strain during extended use.

Medline Tilt-Top H-Base Overbed Table Height Adjustment

Designed for smooth vertical movement, the table rises and lowers continuously between 30 inches and 42 inches. This infinite height range enables quick alignment with standard beds, low-profile home frames, or reclining armchairs for tailored daily setup.

Independent Operating Controls

Safety and ease of use are prioritized with separate adjustment handles for the tilt mechanism and height elevation. The dedicated dual-handle design ensures users or caregivers can adjust the table angle without accidentally changing the height setting.

Sturdy Steel H-Base Frame

Constructed with a heavy-duty steel base and a protective powder-coat finish, the frame offers exceptional structural balance. The low-profile H-base slides smoothly under bed frames and furniture to bring the tabletop directly over the user’s lap.

Smooth Twin-Wheel Caster Mobility

Equipped with threaded twin-wheel swivel casters, the overbed tray glides effortlessly across carpet, hardwood, or tile floors. The maneuverable wheel design allows seamless repositioning or moving the table out of the way during bed transfers.

50-Pound Weight Capacity Support

Engineered to safely accommodate up to 50 pounds of distributed weight, this overbed desk supports heavy laptops, reading materials, meal trays, and personal accessories without sagging or wobbling.

Tilt-Top Overbed Table Raised Edge Retention

The wood-grain laminated tabletop includes raised perimeter edges or lip detailing to prevent pens, reading material, or mobile devices from sliding off when the tray is tilted.

Easy Tool-Free Assembly

The table is designed for intuitive, fast setup out of the box. Clear structural components allow caregivers or family members to assemble and place the tray into service quickly without specialized tools.
